The new fragrance by Burberry, called Burberry Brit Sheer, was tested enthusiastically by a teenage girl, who didn't give her mom a chance to keep it. Brit Sheer is a fresh, fruity scent, with notes of mandarin, pineapple, litchi and grapes. The bottle itself is decorated with light pink checks in the trademark Burberry pattern; a 50-ml. bottle is NIS 303, and 100 ml. is NIS 438. Men who have gotten in the habit of using face and eye cream can now get into the habit of applying a serum underneath their face cream, spending just as much time on their daily routine as some women do. Giora Shavit has an Intensive Nutritive Serum that is supposed to add moisturizer to the skin and slow down the aging process. My husband first frowned at the idea of using such a product, but now admits it does feel good when applied and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. The serum is sold for NIS 189 at Giora Shavit stores. L'Oréal has invented a new way to apply foundation with the True Match Minerals, a powder makeup that is applied with a big brush that is attached to the lid. First, you have to turn the container upside down, so the powder seeps through the holes; then, unscrew the cap, dip the brush in the powder and apply the makeup. This is a quick way to add some color to your face, and it provides adequate coverage. As an added bonus, it even has a sun protection factor of 15. True Match Minerals comes in five different shades and costs NIS 155. New in Dior's Capture Totale line, a series of anti-aging creams promoted by Sharon Stone, is the Multi-Perfection Eye Treatment, a luxurious eye cream that feels pampering to the delicate skin underneath the eyes. The fluid is light and absorbs quickly, so you can apply makeup right away. Dark circles or pouches under your eyes should diminish, and it can help correct wrinkles and irregularities. But even if you don't see all that happen, the treatment will leave your skin feeling smoothed and firmed. For this luxury you will have to pay NIS 462 for a 15-ml. bottle. Those who like chocolate can now enjoy body lotion, bath soap and shower cream with the sweet scent of this treat, new from Schwartz Natural Cosmetics. A young girl loved the idea of showering with chocolate products and, who knows, maybe even this releases endorphins and makes you feel happy, like eating real chocolate. The Schwartz chocolate products, enriched with cocoa butter, are NIS 39.90 for a set of three bottles. Purple is the color of this fall, and in addition to clothing, you see it appear a lot in this season's makeup products. A friend tried a new Madina Milano mascara in burgundy color, and reported the color was subtle enough, and she especially liked the thick brush that made application easy. The True Volume mascara supposedly makes your lashes thicker, and is not clumpy; available in Madina Milano stores for NIS 109.
