For the second consecutive week, an Israeli musician will perform Sunday night in New York City's Central Park. Reggae and world music singer Mosh Ben-Ari will close out the coming weekend with a performance at Central Park Summer Stage '08, a series of free concerts that also features acts like Sonny Rollins, Wyclef Jean and Crosby, Stills & Nash. Ben-Ari's Central Park performance comes near the end a two-week North American tour, which also included stops in Los Angeles and San Francisco and a benefit concert for Sderot in Toronto. Yael Naim, another Israeli performer currently on tour in North America, performed in Central Park last Sunday, and was set to play the Montreal Jazz Festival at the end of the week. Two Israeli dance groups, the Kibbutz Contemporary and Tami companies, will perform in Central Park on July 26.
