Five-time Grammy winner Randy Newman is making his way to Tel Aviv for a show on November 23. The singer-songwriter, known for his satirical lyrics, began his career in the 1960s writing hits for other performers. His songs were recorded by a number of popular artists, including The O'Jays, Dusty Springfield, Pat Boone, Ray Charles and Three Dog Night. During the '70s, he moved to the front of the stage with a number of hit albums of his own. He began working on film soundtracks in the '80s, winning an Oscar for the score to Monster's Inc in 2002.
