One person was seriously injured and another ten lightly injured on Saturday after a crash involving three vehicles on Route 79 near Shfaram.

A helicopter arrived a the scene and took the seriously injured person to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.

Magen David Adom crews treated the other ten who were lightly injured.

Road accident inspectors opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
