Approximately 150 left-wing Israeli and foreign activists protested in the east Jerusalem neighborhoods of Sheikh Jarrah and Silwan on Friday against the increasing presence of Jews in both neighborhoods.

Accompanying the protesters were both former Knesset speaker and Labor MK Avraham Burg and Hebrew University professor Ze'ev Sternhill.
