Two trucks transporting goods into the Gaza Strip were hit and damaged by mortar shells on the Gaza side of the Kerem Shalom Crossing on Monday.

The projectiles were fired from Gaza in the direction of Israel, but failed to clear the border.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

The crossing was temporarily closed following the mortar attack.
