About 100 Haredi men started marching to block Jerusalem’s Route 1 late Monday evening, but were stopped by the police.

About 200 haredi men and the police were facing off on Shomrei Emunim street at 10:30 p.m., the haredi men set fire to some trash cans and were occasionally throwing rocks at the police.

One man was arrested by the police.
