23-year-old Beersheba Adi Paran, was killed on Wednesday when his all-terrain vehicle fell into the Moon Valley, near the capital La Paz.

Paran's friend, who was accompanying him on the trip, called local authorities for help, according to a report from the Foreign Ministry. Paran's body was found after a search by the would-be rescuers.

The Foreign Ministry has been making arrangement to have Paran's body flown back to Israel from La Paz.
