300,000 visit parks, nature reserves on Shavuot

Some 300,000 people visited Israel's parks and nature reserves on the Shavuot holiday on Sunday, according to the National Parks Authority.

An additional 100,000 people visited parks and nature reserves on Saturday.

Among the most popular destinations for travelers on Sunday were Gan Hashlosha National Park near Beit She'an and Yarkon-Afek Park near Rosh Ha'ayin.
