Four Umm-El Fahm men have been arrested on suspicion of illegal possession of a shot gun and ammunition, police said Sunday.

The arrest was made overnight Saturday when police ordered the driver of a car in the city’s Ein Sa’ar neighborhood to stop his vehicle following an intelligence tip-off. The driver attempted to speed away, but the four occupants of the vehicle were caught after a brief chase. One of them was caught with the gun and ammunition.
