A policeman was lightly wounded by stones Palestinians threw at security forces in the northern Jerusalem village or Issawiya on Tuesday morning. The wounded policeman received medical treatment on the site. The stone-throwing occurred during works to install cement safety-barriers to the road at the northern exit to the village, and traffic police enforcement activities.

Security forces used crowd-dispersal methods, but sporadic stone-throwing incidents at police and border policemen continued throughout the day. Altogether, four youths were arrested for throwing stones.
