Two police officers and one soldier were lightly-to-moderately wounded in a car accident which occurred on Wednesday evening near Basra, in the Negev. The crash occurred during a joint security operation conducted by civilian police, border police and the IDF. The three were evacuated by helicopter to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba, along with two other policemen who were lightly wounded in the operation.
