A man aged 70 was stabbed in the neck Thursday while he sat in a public park on Tirush Street, Nazareth Illit.

A team of Magen David Adam paramedics was called to the scene and the man taken to the hospital in Emek Afula.

The man is said to be in a medium-critical condition.

A short time after the stabbing police caught a 23 year old man in connection with the incident.
