A-G's wife indicted for employing illegal migrant worker

An indictment was filed on Monday against the wife of Attorney-General Yehuda Weinsten, Aviva, for employing an illegal migrant worker.

Weinsten had allegedly employed Soze Felix between January and August 2009 to perform various household duties. According to his work permit, Felix was not allowed to work in housework and therefore, he was illegally employed.

If convicted, Aviva Weisntein could face jail time, but it is more unlikely she will face a fine of tens of thousand of shekels.
