Afghan gov't: Night raids deal reached with NATO

KABUL - Afghanistan's government said on Sunday it had reached agreement with the NATO-led coalition in the country on changes to controversial night raids on Afghan homes.

The deal would be signed later on Sunday by Afghan Defense Minister General Abdul Rahim Wardak and NATO's top commander in the country, US Marine General John Allen, at the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the government said.
