An aide for MK Ya'acov Litzman (UTJ) is fictitiously listed as a yeshiva student and fraudulently receives government funding as such, Channel 2 reported Wednesday.

Litzman's office responded that he does not investigate the personal situation of every candidate and trusts the information he is given. In light of the information, he fired the aide.

In addition, Litzman's spokesman said the aide was a temporary worker.
