A top Jewish advocacy organization in the US praised Thai authorities on Friday for recently preventing a terror attack planned by Hezbollah on Israeli tourists visiting the country.

"Global terror requires global vigilance," said American Jewish Communities Executive-Director David Harris.
“Thailand is a country that has recognized the threat and continues to cooperate with other like-minded nations in countering Hezbollah’s relentless, dangerous activities,” he added in a statement.According to local media reports, two detained Hezbollah operatives this week told authorities they had planned to attack Israelis on holiday in Bangkok during the Passover season.
