Police arrested a 46-year-old Mexican doctor in his Modiin home on Monday night on suspicion of using anesthetics to rape at least two women.
On July 11, police received a complaint from a 36-year-old woman who arrived at the Modiin police station and described meeting a suspect online, being drugged, and then raped. A second, similar complaint was filed in recent day by a second woman.
Police traced the complaints to the doctor, who was in Israel to study to become an anesthetist, and arrested him.
