Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Thursday spoke at the graduation ceremony for cadets in the IDF's pilot's course, vowing to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. He reiterated his refrain that "no option is off the table," to prevent a nuclear-armed Iran.

Barak also addressed the situation in Egypt, saying that Israel respects the selection of Islamist Mohamed Mursi as the country's president and hopes to continue cooperation with Cairo based on the peace treaty.
