Beinisch shoe-thrower's prison sentence reduced to 2 years

The man who threw shoe at High Court Chief Justice Dorit Beinisch received a reduced sentence from the Jerusalem District Court on Tuesday.

The district court judges shortened the shoe-thrower Pinny Cohen's sentence from three to two years in prison.

According to the the judges, Cohen's record of personal problems and admission of guilt when charged deserved to be taken into consideration and led to the shortened sentence.
