Bill to require a human be available to answer customer service calls

The Knesset approved in a preliminary reading legislation that would make it easier for consumers to speak to a human customer service representative, instead of just a computer system.

The bill by MK Eitan Cabel (Zionist Union) would require the option of speaking to a human being be given in the first menu in a customer service call.
