A group of Canadian activists have raised $100,000 of the $300,000 they need to buy a boat and sail to Gaza next year, Canada's National Post reported on Wednesday.

The activist group, calling themselves "The Canadian Boat to Gaza," say that they do not want to give support to Hamas, and instead want to "reach the people of Gaza with much-needed supplies."
