The union representing Clalit Health Services maintenance, administrative and technical workers has signed a new labor agreement that will give the 15,000 workers a 10-percent wage rise.

The increase will be paid in two stages, with two-thirds of it to be paid from February.

The rest will be added in January 2011.

Union head Prosper Ben Hamu said that justice has finally been done to the hardworking staffers.
