Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump once again declined to shake hands at the start of the final presidential debate on Thursday, an indication that their mutual disdain could not be concealed. They walked on stage and immediately stood behind their lecterns.

Before the beginning of the debate, the commission thanked Holocaust survivor Fred Kahn for coming up with the concept of the televised presidential debates.
