WASHINGTON - Hillary Clinton said on Thursday her campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination would not be affected by a report by an internal government watchdog saying her use of a private email server while secretary of state broke government rules.

In an interview broadcast on MSNBC, Clinton also said the rules on email usage were not "clarified" until after she left the State Department in 2013.
