'Code Red' siren sounds in Eshkol from apparent rocket fire

A rocket fired from the Gaza Strip landed in the Eshkol Regional Council early Wednesday, Israel Radio reported.

The projectile reportedly landed in open territory and no injuries or damage were reported. An IDF spokeswoman confirmed that the "Code Red" siren was sounded and security forces were sweeping the area.
