Court allows Pearlman to leave house arrest to meet lawyer

The Petah Tikva District Court on Wednesday agreed to allow alleged "Jewish terrorist" Haim Pearlman to leave his house arrest for the purpose of meeting with his lawyer.
The court did not reduce the 15-day house arrest, which began last Thursday following a ruling by the Petah Tikva Magistrate's court the day before.
The court also upheld their previous condition that Pearlman be forbidden from meeting with any of his alleged accomplices or far-right activists Itamar Ben-Gvir and Noam Federman for 45 days.
Pearlman was arrested in July on suspicion of murdering four Palestinians and attempting to murder seven more in Jerusalem in the late 90s. Last Monday, a judge ruled that the Shin Bet and police did not have enough evidence for a conviction and gave them two days to produce more evidence in order to extend Pearlman's remand. When they were not able to present an appeal by Thursday morning, Pearlman was released.
