Danon: High court will throw out Tibi's 'Nakba' petition

Likud MK Danny Danon said Thursday that United Arab List-Ta'al MK Ahmed Tibi's petition to the high court against Knesset speaker Reuven Rivlin's rejection the proposed "Nakba" bill will be thrown away just as Tibi was thrown out of the Knesset.

The "Nakba" bill would prohibit government funding for organizations that deny the "Nakba," the name given by Arabs meaning catastrophe for the founding of the State of Israel.

Danon criticized Tibi further, requesting a "thorough investigation" of the Arab List MK's funding sources, "including organizations which assist him in legal matters."
