Minister of Defense Moshe Ya'alon cancelled the army call up of hundreds of haredi yeshiva students who were scheduled to be inducted into the IDF this coming August through December, Israel Radio reported.

The State Prosecutor informed the High Court of the Defense Minister's decision. The prosecutor told the court that the state was working to complete the new haredi draft legislation and it asked the High Court not to decide on the applications challenging the legality not to draft haredi yeshiva students.
