A 16-year-old girl in Dimona was extorted by two female classmates and forced to carry out sexual acts with other boys, police said on Monday.

The two suspects have denied the suspicions.

Acting on an intelligence tip, youth officers called the alleged victim was called to the Dimona police and questioned in recent days.

She told police that two classmates had demanded she regularly hand over money over the past six months, adding that they threatened to "spread rumors" about her in school if she failed to comply.

The teenager added that she was compelled to carry out sexual acts with teenage boys, who then "paid" the two female suspects by giving them cigarettes and alcoholic beverages.

The two suspects were arrested this week and denied all suspicions against them, adding that the girl was seeking to incriminate them because they refused to be her friend.

Social Services have been alerted to the case.
