Drunk driver who hit toddler gets one year in jail

The Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court sentenced Gideon Yaakovi, age 50, to one year in jail and revoked his driver's license.
The verdict comes two months after Yaakovi drove while under the influence and hit and severely injured a 2 month old baby in Rehovot.
19 years ago Yaakovi lost control of his car while under the influence and hit and killed and eight year old girl.  He was sentenced to one year in prison and had his license revoked for 15 years.
