The Ministry of Education announced on Wednesday that it finished checking summer Bagrut exams in Mathematics, and has decided to curve the grades.
The ministry said it took into consideration "the special examination conditions" on the day of the exam - questions were leaked, and the Ministry of Education's website crashed.
The additional points were calculated by comparing the summer exams to previous ones, concentrating on the average grade, the percentage of failures and the percentage of those who excelled.
Students will be able to check their grades on the Ministry of Education's website http://meyda.education.gov.il/bagrut on Thursday.
