Egypt police kill Sudanese trying to enter Israel

RAFAH, Egypt- Egyptian officials say police have killed a Sudanese migrant and wounded three others trying to cross into Israel.

A security official says police fired warning shots Saturday but the migrants refused to surrender near al-Awja, a commercial crossing with Israel. A medical official says the migrant who died had been shot in the head.

Both officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren't authorized to speak to the media.
