MK Gilad Erdan slammed the previous speaker at the Jerusalem Post Conference, Ehud Olmert, saying that "the only thing we have in common is our date of birth."

Speaking in New York, Erdan said that "Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East," adding that Jerusalem must never be divided.
