The Givat Olam oil exploration company found signs of oil Wednesday night at the Meged 5 drilling site in Rosh Ha'ain, Israel Radio reported. The company announced that it had measured within the drilling mud a substantial amount of gas and oil. Givat Olam stressed that at this stage it is not certain whether or not the findings indicate a commercially viable well, according to the report.
