Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman on Thursday called the events of the Non-Aligned Movement summit in Tehran "distressing," wondering aloud how Israel could trust the international community after its events?

"It's very distressing to hear the words [spoken] today in Tehran," Liberman said at an event with the Japanese ambassador. "The remaining question is: How can we trust the international community?"

"Set against threats and curses that call for the destruction of the State of Israel, to erase it and hurt all Jews, wherever they are, we see the representatives of 120 nations, among them the secretary-general of the UN, coming to Tehran and giving legitimation to this regime," Liberman said.

"This is a march of fools, the likes of which has not been seen since the 30's," he added.
