A 43-year-old man is alleged to have sexually abused his daughter as often as several times a day for ten years, according to an indictment filed in the Tel Aviv District Court on Wednesday.

The indictment, filed by the Tel Aviv District Attorneys' Office, alleges that the defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, began to sexually assault his daughter when she was aged six, and once attempted to rape her. On one occasion, he is alleged to have forced his daughter to smoke cannabis with him before molesting her.

The abuse came to light when the defendant was arrested in September, after police searched his apartment for drugs.
