Fayyad due to participate in dinner with Jewish leaders

Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salam Fayyad was due to participate in an Israel Project dinner with 50 Jewish leaders in New York Tuesday night, according to the organization.

The event was organized to coincide with his visit to the UN as part of the opening of the General Assembly.

The dinner was arranged so that Jewish leaders would be able to question Fayyad on issues ranging from security to Gaza to West Bank development as well as meet with him to discuss their hopes and concerns connected to the peace process.
