Former JCS chief appointed BestTV chairman

Former Jerusalem Capital Studios (JCS) CEO Gabi Rosenberg has been appointed chairman of BestTV, a Tel Aviv-based international provider of video content on web services and technologies. Rosenberg served as JCS president and CEO from 1993.

BestTV was founded eight years ago and its customers include Golden Pages, The Jerusalem Post, Charlton Communications, the Jewish Agency for Israel and various government ministries. The company is also the exclusive Israeli distributor for Brightcove platforms, a Boston-based cloud servicing company, which enables BestTV to offer solutions based on cloud management and video distribution content applications.

Rosenberg said, "The target I have set for myself is to leverage Brightcove's capabilities and technology and BestTV's highly skilled team. I thank the owners for their confidence in me and giving me this opportunity and challenge. I intend expanding the range of services that BestTV offers its customers."
