Former president Katsav to go to prison for seven years

The Supreme Court on Thursday rejected an appeal by former president Moshe Katsav's defense that he raped Aleph, reaffirming a seven-year sentence which will begin December 7.
Katsav was sentenced to seven years in prison by a Tel Aviv court in March. In August, the Supreme Court opened deliberations in the case, and issued its final decision on Thursday.
