Twenty-six of those injured in Thursday's attack in Barcelona were French citizens, SkyNews reports.
The French foreign minister, Jean-Yves le Drian, will visit the Spanish city on Friday.
13 people were killed and around 100 were injured when a van rammed into a crowd of people on a busy street popular with tourists on Thursday. Shortly after, five suspects were killed in a shootout with police in the seaside town of Cambrils. Police said the suspects appeared to be wearing explosive belts.
ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack in Barcelona.
