Maj.-Gen. Yoav Galant's meeting with the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, scheduled for Monday, was canceled so that he could finish hearings with the High Court surrounding his case, Israel Radio reported.

Defense Minister Ehud Barak was also invited to meet with the committee to explain his recent claims in the media that the IDF Chief of General Staff Maj.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi behaved in an unethical manner. Barak refused the meeting, choosing to meet with a separate committee on the matter.
