IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz said Sunday that the IDF would continue to respond to all rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip on southern Israel.

"we are not interested in an escalation, but we see Hamas as the party responsible for what happens in the Gaza Strip," Gantz stated.

Gantz added that the capable defenses of the homefront enable Israel to properly fight terror in Gaza.
