Arsonists on Tuesday morning set fire to the Paris Gardens – one of the Gaza Strip’s famous resorts, sources in Gaza City said.

The resort, which was seriously damaged in the blaze, is located inside an orchard in the Tufah neighborhood of Gaza City.

In recent years the resort was a popular entertainment site for children and families. It also served as a site for weddings and private parties, the sources said.

Earlier this year, unidentified gunmen raided and torched the Crazy Water Park, another popular entertainment site in Gaza City.
