Gaza rocket fired at Israel, lands in open field

A mortar was fired at Israel on Wednesday night from the Gaza Strip, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit reported.

According to the report, it landed in an open field in the Eshkol Regional Council, near the security fence with Gaza.

The firing did not prompt a red alert siren and there were no reports of damage or injury from the incident.
