Gilad Sharon joins Kadima party

Gilad Sharon, son of former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, joined the Kadima party and plans on running for a place in the next elections for the Knesset, it was announced on Thursday.

Sharon was the latest member to join the party.  Yesterday, former Shin Bet Chief Yaaqov Perry announced his decision to join Kadima, and last month, former IDF chief-of-staff Dan Halutz also announced he would be joining.
