Two female IDF soldiers on Saturday claimed that a Palestinian tried to stab them next to the Etzion Brigade headquarters near Gush Etzion.

Border Police forces began searching the area and spotted a Palestinian carrying a 11cm-long knife.

During the initial interrogation the man admitted that he carried the knife in order to carry out a stabbing attack.

The man was arrested and transferred to security forces for further investigation.
