Atlanta-born Jeremy Gimpel and Texan Ari Abramowitz, who are running in the November 6 primary for the Habayit Hayehudi party's Knesset slate, appointed Skokie, Illinois native Jeremy Saltan as their campaign manager Tuesday.

Saltan has been a parliamentary adviser in the Knesset for National Union leader Ya'acov Katz since 2010. He served as Beit Shemesh campaign manager for the National Union in the 2009 general election.

"It is time the English speaking public have their interests represented in Knesset, and Jeremy and Ari are ideally suited for the job," Saltan said.
