'Hackers planning data war to avenge Wikileaks'

Hacker group "1-Cyber" said that it is planning a "data war" consisting of cyber attacks on major websites in retaliation for attempts to block Wikileaks, Reuters reported on Thursday.

Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet said on Thursday that the Swedish government's website was down overnight. Sweden had issued a warrant for the arrest of Wikileaks' founder, Julian Assange, on a rape charge.
