A 24-year old man was shot on a beach in the northern city of Haifa on Thursday, in what police called "a violent conflict between criminals."

Paramedics rushed the man to Rambam Medical Center in the city with a bullet lodged in his leg. Doctors listed him light-to-moderate condition.

Police arrested three suspects over the attack.
